This morning was a busy one, i had to go bye more flowers and veg to sell in our shop, they are selling like hot cakes at the moment so every given chance you have to be ready to drive off into the country for new stock. I must admit i was shocked the amount i had bought and struggled to get them all in the vehicle, after much huffing and puffing the deed was done! Then back to the shop to unload and price up and sell, and yes indeed they sold.all good i guess.
Back home to do some more reviewing of sewing machines, i must admit i have now 5 i need to try out at our local shop befor i cough up some money for a new one. There are so many good ones out there i really don't know wich one to bye till i try,But can't wait till tomorrow to go spend some hard earned dosh! (not much mind you)..
Oh yes and yesterday we went to Lavender farm in Kent, I forgot my camera, but it's such a lovely place, with such a fab shop full of lovely things you could spend a fortune in there, i bought some Jam, mayo and a lovely small metal jug with flower imprint, will post a pic soon.
Hope The sun comes out again soon, seems were back to dreary wet weather again!

Slight Obssesion
Do you ever look at houses for sale on the internet, well it's my private obsession that i must seek and find all the best and worst out there, i'm addicted to looking at all what i can't afford and just drive myself into a frenzy of " Oh i wanna live there" i put in a extreme budget and look at the beautiful homes i know i will never afford in this lifetime, unless i win mega bucks on the lottery, and then a more reasonable amount and still find some treasures,My hubby says i should have been a estate agent, as all i do is send him emails of what i have found, drives him nuts at times, but one day! oh yes one day i will live in a dreamy cottage,in the depths of the countryside with a farm shop 100 yards up the road!
We used to keep chickens roughly 2 years ago,but my garden just coudn't take it, as much as i loved ,now don't laugh Molly,Polly & Dolly..they scratched there way through my garden and plant pots like no tomorrow, so i felt only fair to give them to a farm were they would have more grass to roam than Wembly pitch. So one day i want to start again,in my cottage with at least a acre so i can have my chickens roam, get my lovely fresh eggs, and have chickens that dived into my kitchen without us falling over them and nearly squashing them. yes dreams do come true sometimes!

Can't grumble because while were busy it brings in extra pennies.
Managed to get to a material shop on the way to bye some plants on Wednesday,Was spoilt for choice they had some real marvels in,So of course i had to treat myself to a small amount.
What lovely vibrant colours!
Made a bit of bunting with some bits and bobs i had left over too!
Also made some Peg Bags for the Shop...

Feeling Hot Hot Hot!
Saturday sure was a warm day,The weather reports got it right at last,It was busy in the shop today didn't have time to itch or re-apply lippy,Manic was the understatement, everyone byeing everything to do with the garden,Time i got home my feet were killing me,so sat down and made a few Lavender bags to pop in your draws or hang in your wardrobe, and then start another project, yes lets distress this old table someone kindly gave me,as yet only applied one coat of paint, and have had a glass of wine so i think i will leave that till tomorrow!
Had another horror with cat and bird, but birdy won and my silly cat just looked on in amazement as birdy flew off, thank god for that as i hate to see the poor birds in trouble due to my cats in stalker mode!

Wednesday It's getting warmer!
Oh i can't believe it, the sun was shining this morning it was warm and so lovely out, it's a pleasure to walk round the garden and see everything starting to grow, although i did need to give it a good water, will have to do it befor i go to work in the morning, Amazing my winter pansies are still in flower! I had a chance to fiddle in the shed and sew a few things, Plus i passed by my little Antique shop and got some ribbons etc, what a bargain they were,£3.00 for a whole bunch of them, but the Ribbons might as well cost me £43.00 as when i came out i had a parking ticket!!!!Argh stupid me thinking i will be quick, those pesty perils never come round this time of day, Oh how i was wrong..So i sulked and made a bag that needs finishing off...
My Winter Pansies still in Bloom
My Lilac Tree,It was all but a stick when i planted it 2 years ago.
A Bag that needs finishing off
Oh and another bag not sure about the straps!
And a lovely Pin Cushion
Sewing & Cats!
Tuesday flew by,i spent most of the day ringing the vet as my Buttons had got into a fight, he is such a woose of a cat runs and hides at any stray cat that comes into the garden, So i was suprised to see my poor baby, lying stiill on the sofa in the morning when he is normally screaming his head off for food, He wouldn't let me touch him, so up to the vets for a inspection of injurys, So 2 injections later and after he nearly knocked all the medicines off the vets wall, he is fine!. So much for a day off work to relax!

Hectic Sunday
The shed is finished! Hooray says hubby,I don't think he could take any more of my "Oh can you just do that please"..He just wanted to curl up on the sofa and watch Motor bike Racing or some kinda sport.I put in a few of my nic nacs, and hung a few pretty pics i bought in a junk shop and a Boater i found from the theatre, and now i can sit peacefully to my hearts content without bothering anyone,Or so i thought!.
My Daughter has decided she wants to hijack are old junk shed and claim it as hers,so she was up at the crack of dawn, blissfully emptied the old shed and informed us that we had to find a new home for the lawn Mower old table and chairs etc....Then it rained,so it all went back in again...
A couple of pics i took yesterday in a bit of a hurry, i must hasten to add, I'm no David Bailey!

A productive day
This morning i had a day off work, so i was lucky enough to pass by a lovely shop called Past & Present, It's a wonderful shop full of vintage things,Nick Nacks,It's a small shop but she packs a lot of stuff in there, At the moment she has the delight of of rummaging around a old theatrical costume shop,as the owner is retired and she has the pleasure of bringing all the costumes ,material to her shop. oh goody can't wait...
Bought these today.lovely little signs for my shed.
My daughter has been busy painting the old sheds also today, she has done a great job, although she is covered in paint, bless her!
Yes we all have seagrass sheds now! Mind you she was lured by a fee!

Work Work Work!
Well the work has started, hubby out with his drill and all necessary equipment that he needs to surround himself with, then with baited breath he picks up the instructions...Yes...Can we have this in English please?
Well after much banging and moaning and words that can only be said after the watershed,It's nearly done! Why is it that nothing ever fits together properly as it says it should,So hubby just pushed and shoved till it did..
Next step painting!
Ok who invented painting? who's idea was this to paint the shed? oh yes it was me,The paint isn't exactly going on like it does on a wall,i'll be so glad when it's done. Just a sneek preview!
Last Minute Prepping
Oh you gotta love hubbys! he's been and bought the base for my new dwelling, and has been out dismantling the poor old green shed thing that had collapsed many a time with a bad wind and ended up in our neighbours garden, god bless them for not moaning. So i said bye bye green old clapped out shed and all leccy wires that god only knows what they plug into, and hello a new start.
Moved also my little green house, I have never grown things by seed befor i must say so far i'm pretty proud of myself, a few marigolds, and some Lobellia and i think some herbs if i remember... Hubby bought me the little plastic greenhouse for Mothers Day best prezzie ever!
All safely back in there little house now..
My lovely Lavender taken a few days ago when the sun shone for all of 2 minutes
And hubbys monster shed, yes notice to oneself, must learn to stand in front of washing pole befor taking pictures!
Meeoowww!

And here we have Miss Midders, another unwanted cat from Foal Farm,She is adorable about 11 now and just wants to be left alone and sleep forever more!
And last but not least,we have Buttons! we have had him now for about 2 years, when we first got him we thought we should have called him Satan, he was hell on earth into everything he could get his mitts on,now he is the most funniest sweetest cat you will ever meet,he is a character that loves a long winded chat! Should have really called him Lord of the Manor, i mean who does he think he is?
New Beginings!
Well as yet I have not posted much,I have never had a blog before so please put up with my trying mistakes and mishaps. We are expecting a delivery real soon of a little small summerhouse, for me, to turn into a place all of my very own,yes no place for husbands, kids, snails,or any creepy crawlies I hope, if they do arrive I expect them to at least make tea and pay rent!.may I add Hubby already has 2 garden sheds, one he keeps his beloved Motor Bike in,it rarely see's the road these days as were always in work, but he's hoping to drag it out it's comfy home in the summer and get out there and eat up the country roads, actually it's more like head to Hastings and eat fish & chips!
We have a very small house so no room for my sewing machine or crafty collections, so fingers crossed all going well, my new dwelling will be here soon, then the building starts,oh yes that's hubby's job,I guess I will stand by pointing the finger and making tea all day,but I will paint and decorate it,now that part I love doing!
